I write about motherhood on my blog, Heirloom Mothering. There I examine how different generations rethink the same ideas in search of the “right way” to raise our children. I write about my roots with the hope that looking backward will help me understand the path I travel now.  I see contemporary life, from social problems to what to cook for dinner, through a lens of history and tradition. Michael Pollan told us to eat what our great grandmothers ate. I say we should also ask ourselves, “What would great grandma do?”

I also publish articles elsewhere. You can see a list of published pieces here.
